Community Nursing offers personalised nursing services in the comfort and safety of your own home or at our Healthy Living Centre in Brisbane. We work directly with our clients and tailor treatments specific to your needs to support you to achieve your health goals.
Who can access Community Nursing services?
Everyone can access our Community Nursing services. We work with all everyone, adults and children, and all types of injuries and disabilities regardless of severity of the injury, or how recent or old that injury is.

Where are Spinal Life Community Nursing services offered?
Our nursing services are currently offered in Brisbane in the comfort of your own home or at out Brisbane Healthy Living Centres. We have recently started offering telehealth consults – that anyone with an internet connection can access anywhere in Australia.
What type of services do you offer?
We offer a wide range of services including, bladder management (catheter changes, consumables plan, management plan), bowel management (consumables plan, bowel regimes, colostomy review), diabetes management, medication reviews, autonomic dysreflexia, general health assessment, respiratory management (trachy changes, ongoing respiratory management, ventilatory script check/ machine), pressure / wound area assessment, stage 1 -2 wound care dressing and stage 3- 4 wound care dressing.
What funding bodies do Spinal Life Community Nurses work with?
We can work with most funding bodies in Australia, including: NDIS, NIISQ, Aged Care providers, Medicare, all private health, and insurance claims. If you’re unsure if we can work with your funding body, just get in touch with our friendly team via phone or by completing a online contact form.
Do you only offer Community Nursing services to people with spinal cord damage?
